Banner Advertising
O ne way of making your online business known is through banner advertising. It is another kind of advertising in which advertisement is constructed from an image (GIF, JPEG, PNG), JavaScript program or multimedia object employing technologies such as Silverlight, Java, Shockwave or Flash, often employing animation or sound to maximize presence. Images are designed in a high-aspect ratio shape, hence called banners and these images are usually placed on the web pages that have interesting content, such as infomercials, a newspaper article or an opinion piece.

Primarily, the purpose of banner advertising is to attract traffic to a website by linking to the website of the advertiser. It is somewhat similar to traditional advertising but this kind has added ability to advertising to bring a potential customer directly to the advertiser's website. Because of its graphic element, it can present multiple images, include animation and change appearance in a number of other ways.

So how your business can take advantage of banner advertising? First of all, banner advertising costs you less to create and place than any other forms of advertising. In addition, they often deliver a more targeted audience than print, television or radio ads. They also give users immediate satisfaction by allowing them to click to your store right away to learn more about your business. Banner ads strategically gets your name where you want it and of course that relates to your offerings, that could build strong traffic to your new website.

Banner ads also could help establish your brand or to any service or products you offer. Even customers will not click on the banner, they are still exposed to your message, logo, and company image. Plus you can fit a lot of information in a small space, with animated banners, you can put
a lot of alternating information into a very small and size restricted spot.

Banner ads may not guarantee your business success, but it is worth working on your banner ads. Effective banner ads provides internet users the information that could motivate them to make a purchase. A colorful banner ads with catchy phrases could catch the browsers attention then that user might consider purchasing a product of service that he or she previously gave no thought to owning.

Banner Ads are usually seen on just about every website. They just hang about at the side or the top of the page blinking, flashing, some run across your monitor or just stays in one place, its nature is to catch the searchers attention. It could also be in a pop-up form, or blocks the page you are trying to open. They could be everywhere, they may seem annoying, but they too are often effective.
