ast August my Daughter was turning One. My wife and I really wanted to have a get together at our house that was really fun for kids and parents alike.
I went to Build a bear and spent a fortune on un-stuffed Plush skins and outfits (they would not give me fluff, so we had to buy this separately), I believe we bought 15, one for every child that was coming to the party. When we sat down to hand stuff the plush animals, every child and parent was genuinely excited and really happy to be stuffing, by hand, their own plush animal and dressing it up. Finally they all named the animal with a little adoption certificate that I had created.
When seeing the pure joy on everyone’s faces something clicked in my mind. Why did I have to go to Build a Bear and be subjected to the small selection of animals, outfits and accessories that they had? Why wasn’t I able to get the stuffing and certificates? Why fight through crowds of people and mostly to pay an arm and a leg for the un-stuffed plush skins and outfits?
I began researching and decided to start a site that would enable people to pick there own plush skins, outfits, t-shirts and accessories and run their very own stuff your own plush animal in the comfort of their own home, school or really wherever they wanted. There is more to the story than just what I am sharing with you right now, but let’s save that for later. Over the last 8 month I have been developing Mybearstore.com and it is finally here! We launched the site just a few days ago. Now I want you to share in the joy and fun that my family and I had, when I ran the stuff your own plush animal party right in my home.
