dancing around. Yeah right. I could never get a straight answer. They give all this mumbo jumbo about how you can eat anything you want. Well that's true if you want your blood sugar always at 6.0 or about. I want my blood sugar to be under the A1C rating of 5.5 or below. So what can you eat? Very simple. Now don't get me wrong this is fool proof you still have to check your blood sugar levels everyday and make sure that none of your extremities are violated such as foot ulcers or retinal damage this things must still be checked by the doctor. But at least when you do go to him and he takes that blood sugar he will see that it is in normal range and quite possibly adjust whatever whatever medication you are on.
I am not a Doctor...nor do I make any claims that this will absolutely work for you. It has worked for me. The key though to keeping you blood sugar in check is eating healthy and exercising. After each meal I wait about 15 mins then take a walk to burn off energy and the carbs that my body has built up. Even a brisk walk can help bring down blood sugar levels.
This is a claim I make because I have done it.
Diabetes isn't a death sentence as most people would think...but it is change in lifestyle. Eating habits, incorporating a daily exercise routine into your life...which you should to anyway. Being a diabetic is not easy. A lot of changes must occur to live a long healthy life.
