Mass transportation modes, such as buses and trains can indeed save on fuel consumption, which also means a reduction in the emission of pollutants. But it still produces exhaust gases which pollute. Another solution is to use means of transportation that do not produce pollutant gases at all, like a bicycle. However this is not effective for long distance travel. Other transportation is to use an electric bike. With this bike, carbon gas is not produced. However, it needs to keep in mind that transport electrical power needs. While most of the electricity generated from diesel generators.
