The term “Cash Gifting” itself is creating confusion & controversy. The question asked by my neighbor is really a question about itself as whether to consider Cash Gifting as legal and ethical that if somebody wants he can argue on this point for hours together without any end to this debate. This is because there are numerous of ways in which day to day routine Cash Gifting is in practice. One type of Cash Gift which is widely understood is charity fund raising or donation being collected by even unknown persons, less known organization or individuals. Though it’s considered as best possible type of Cash Gifting, the real cash reaching to the actual user stay very small amount in a reason of this cash has been passed on through many agencies, routed through many hands.
As a tradition or as a rituals, many of us are used to give cash gifts to our close relatives or friends; this is one of the highly acceptable means of Cash Gift and this if with good intentions for good causes. Cash Gifts offering at Parties, Functions like Birthday, wedding, anniversary, holidays or even at the time of getting good ranking in universities are widely acceptable. So in these all cases it is considered as legal & acceptable means, in all these cases mentioned above there is no need to receive any product against Cash Gift but it will be given with our own wish to somebody we would like to Gift.
