THAILAND, May 22 — Khao Sok National Park is one of the most important National Park in the south of Thailand. It is rich of natural source, one of a few remaining in Thailand. hao Sok National Park is one of the most important National Park in the south of thailand. It is rich of natural source, one of a few remaining in Thailand. The topography of Khao Sok National Park consists of High mountains which is covered by lush forest of approximately 182,546 acres.
With its natural abundance and mountainous, government began to build the dam called Ratchaprapa dam in the north of Khao Sok for water storage used in agriculture and farmers in Surat Thani. The dam also attracts a lot of tourists because of its stunning scenery and becomes one of the tourist destination in Khao sok National Park.
For years Khao Sok National Park gains its reputation among foreign visitors. This may be because it locates not far from popular tourist places such as Phuket, Krabi, Koh Samui, and Phang Nga. So people come here for jungle trip after enjoying beautiful beaches. You can tell how popular this place is as there are many resorts along the way to the National Park.

- Water activities; river tubing, canoeing, water rafting over Ratchaprapa dam with either one-day trip or overnight stay.
- Jungle activities;; trekking, rock climbing, jungle camping, etc.

- Wang Hin Falls: flow down to Klong Sok canel.There are rocks at the bottom of the falls allowed people to walk through the canel.It locates about 2.8 kilometres away from the park head office and can be accessed by vehicle.
- Tone Gloy Falls: one of the most beautiful waterfall in the National Park.It locates about 9 kilometres away from the park head office.
- Than Sawan Falls: can be accessed throughout the year. Waterfalls flow down the steep cliff, tending a rainbow arch and flow into Klong Sok canel. It locates about 9 kilometres away from the park head office.
- Eleven Floor Falls: flow down like eleven steps to bottom floor where is a pool for people to swim.It locates about 4 kilometres away from the park head office.
- Mae Yai Falls: is about 30 meter height. The best time to visit is rainfall season. It can be accessed by vehicle located about 5.5 kilometres away from the park head office.
- Tone Sai Falls: small waterfalls in Klong Sok canel. It locates about 11 kilometres away from the park head office.
