While a personal ToDo list helps you to know what you should be doing, it doesn’t provide the context you need to know what is happening around you. While a personal ToDo list helps you to know what you should be doing, it doesn’t provide the context you need to know what is happening around you. Unfortunately keeping a personal ToDo list up to date up to date takes a lot of time and effort. So we usually have little time for keeping track of the actions other people are doing that are relevant to us.
The problem we face is that a lot of what is actually happening is occurring on other people’s To Do Lists. We usually find out what other people are doing through various communications, such as phone calls, meetings, emails, instant messaging, etc. All these communications take time, leaving less time to complete our own To Do’s.
The solution is to synchronize the information on relevant people’s personal ToDo lists. This is a big ask, given that simply keeping one personal To Do list up to date and doing the things that need to be done is usually a full-time job.
