There’s completely nothing wrong about that. But, what does that entail?
Advertising and promotions that are done traditionally entail very expensive backing. Take the television advertising campaign for example; one company will spend hundreds of thousands up to millions for the material and for the endorser and another separate hundreds to millions for the television channel spot (the purchase of commercial time) in exchange for the leverage. Same goes for the print advertising campaigns. A huge amount of financial provision is needed in exchange for market presence towards readers. While the two kinds of advertising may be effective in terms of mass-marketing, it can however be a huge toll for a company that’s just starting out. In this day and age, even well established companies are finding innovative ways to spend less or cut costs in any way they could.
Be that as it may, television and print advertising campaigns are in fact the most common and generally considered as the most effective to get market presence. But, TV and print ads alone cannot guarantee success in business. Not to mention, these types of advertising are very limited in nature as you are only given a few seconds to a minute to showcase your product and or services on TV, whilst print ads offer limited space.
So what if you belong to those small and medium businesses who can’t afford TV and print advertising? Should you succumb to such impractical marketing practice? Gladly, you don’t have to.
