o matter how good a plan is, if it is not effectively implemented it is of little value. There are many approaches to planning, but few include a simple way to implement the plan.
In our workplaces, there are many different types of plans. Business plans, corporate plans, and strategic plans provide high level direction; change plans and project plans provide more detail on how high level plans will be implemented; and action plans and work plans provide the detail about who will do what, when and with whom.
All these plans require people to do things to implement them. Consequently people need to know what needs to happen and what they need to do. Implementation will not happen, if people don’t know what is happening, and when they need to do something, and with whom.
Most planning focuses on the tasks that need to be done with people being treated as resources. When people are just treated as resources, the teams and relationships between people required for effective implementation are not included. So people need to use other management methods (such as emails, phones, and personal time management tools) that are poorly integrated with the implementation of plans.
In simple terms, the actions required to implement a plan need to be distributed to each contributor’s todo list in real-time. When an action is completed or updated, relevant people need to be informed and the plan progress updated.
Over 10 years, TASKey has developed and validated a simple solution that keeps plans and people’s ToDo lists synchronized. The missing link is no longer missing. Software accessed through web and mobile browsers makes the solution easy to apply from anywhere at any time.
Using TASKey’s distributed management software tool, thousands of people around the globe can implement many plans concurrently without losing control. Most of the complex, time consuming and frustrating coordination required to synchronize plans and people’s actions is automated. So the chances of successfully implementing each plan are increased significantly.
Now you can implement your plans fast with a minimum of time, effort, stress and risk.
