UNITED STATES, Nov 07 — Corn pellet stoves are very similar to wood pellet stoves except they are specifically designed to burn the higher moisture pellets made from corn. Their small compact design and the fact that they only require a 4 inch vent for smoke to exit your house makes it possible for them to be installed in almost any room in your home.
The fact that they can easily be hooked into existing heating ducts means that a single stove may be all you need to efficiently heat your entire house.
For many people, particularly those that live in the grain belt, corn pellet stoves may be the perfect solution to the problem of high heating costs

orn pellet stoves are very similar to wood pellet stoves except they are specifically designed to burn the higher moisture pellets made from corn. Their small compact design and the fact that they only require a 4 inch vent for smoke to exit your house makes it possible for them to be installed in almost any room in your home.
The fact that they can easily be hooked into existing heating ducts means that a single stove may be all you need to efficiently heat your entire house. Although corn pellet stoves are not practical in all parts of the country, if you live in an area where large amounts of corn is grown and processed, they are a very inexpensive way to heat your home. Purchasing and installing a stove is not expensive, and it will likely pay for itself the first winter you use it.
These stoves are very eco-friendly. Not only are they clean burning, releasing only minimal chemical by products into the atmosphere, but the fact that they burn corn, an easily renewable resource, means that they do not deplete any of the resources, such as coal and oil, that may only exist in a limited amounts.
These nonrenewable resources also do a great deal of damage to the environment when they are gathered and processed. Growing corn does not damage the environment in any way as long as the farmer takes basic steps to protect his top soil. In fact, large fields of growing corn do their part to keep the carbon monoxide levels in the atmosphere under control. Corn pellet stoves burn more efficiently than wood pellet stoves, but they require more maintenance.
The higher moisture content of corn pellets means that they leave more residue both in the stove and the chimney. This residue needs to removed regularly to keep the stove functioning properly and to prevent the possibility of a chimney fire.
Pellet stoves come in many sizes and styles, so you are sure to be able to find one that matches your decor. Some of the more popular styles feature glass enclosures that allow you to watch the flames and gives you the ambiance of a traditional wood burning fireplace.
For many people, particularly those that live in the grain belt, corn pellet stoves may be the perfect solution to the problem of high heating costs. They not only allow you to heat your home efficiently and cheaply, but they also ensure that our nation’s farmers have a continuous market for their grain.

‘It is very important that you research product that is designed to burn the fuels that are close by and economical to use. Corn is dried down to 14% moisture so that it will be able to be stored without problems. This makes corn an excellent fuel for heating your homes or business as it is ready to go into a properly designed corn burning appliance. The efficiency of how the fuel is burned is dependent on the design of the appliance. A properly designed corn burning stove such as the MagnuM brand will burn corn with a high level of efficiency.
Even Wood Pellets can be very hard to burn if you do not have a high quality appliance or if the fuel itself is bad. As in most cases, the fuel and the appliance that you are using must be matched for total success. It is important that your fuel supplier educates you on the proper fuel to use for your appliance and supplies you with high quality fuel. High efficiency can be maintained with Corn or Wood Pellets and minimal maintenance will be achieved if you have the right appliance and good quality fuel.
