THAILAND, Mar 24 — Surat Thani in Thailand is in the south and has some very exciting things to see and do. Probably the 3 most popular places in this province would be Koh Samui, Koh Pha-ngan and Khao Sok.
Koh Samui is a small Island which is one of the tourist hot spots which boasts beautiful beaches, a wild nightlife and great diving in and around the Island.

urat Thani in thailand is in the south and has some very exciting things to see and do. Probably the 3 most popular places in this province would be Koh Samui, Koh Pha-ngan and Khao Sok.
Koh Samui is a small Island which is one of the tourist hot spots which boasts beautiful beaches, a wild nightlife and great diving in and around the Island. The beaches are a fairly clean and in much better condition to its other famous Island nearby called Phuket. Although Koh Samui is starting to become another Phuket in regard to too much over development, it is still a much better place than Phuket in most opinions. So right know Koh Samui is still a decent place to visit to see many things and have a range of activities like diving, snorkeling and many more things.
Koh Pha-ngan is a small Island which is only a short speed boat ride from Koh Samui which hosts the full moon party on the beach, it is a very popular event with tourists and first started out with just a few people drinking on the beach in front a full moon many years ago and has developed into Thailand’s biggest party. Koh Pha-ngan is also known for is wonderful snorkeling and nice beaches.
Khao Sok is an emerging tourist attraction and has an amazing national park and has a rain forest that is even more diverse than the Amazon rain forest. The jungle safari’s are one of the best in the world with so much wildlife and natural surrounding, Khao Sok is not very developed which makes it a tourist attraction as one of Thailand’s untouched beauties. If your a bird lover Khao Sok have over 500 different species of birds and some of the rarest. surrounded by an ever green forest and limestone caves has made Khao Sok an amazing place and is really starting to emerge as one of Thails’s favorite tourist destinations.
If you are ever in southern Thailand surat Thani has many things to offer and is worth the visit. Phuket is still the most visited Island in southern Thailand but Surat Thani has so much more to offer.
