RIDE THE RICKSHAW: There are obviously a lot of ways to get around Mumbai. But nothing has got to be more exciting and says Mumbai like Rickshaw.
A typical ride in India, the rickshaw is a three-wheeler motorcycle wherein passengers not more than three can ride in the back part while the driver sits up front. Not only is it thought of as the quickest ride going around the city, but it is the most inexpensive too. NOTE: Tell the drivers that you are a tourist, in this manner; they will try to slow down the ride so you can take pics and some drivers would even be generous to be your own tourist guide. ENJOY LOCAL SIGHTSEEING: Continue your day trip at the Sanjay Gandhi National Park, previously known as Borivali National Park, found at the northern outskirt of the city. Tourists love the well-conserved vistas, fresh air, and the wildlife safari tour where you get to see four-horned antelope, deer, lions, tigers, etc.
Go to Bollywood or visit the Mumbadevi Temple in the Bhuleshwar area of South Mumbai. Celebrated due to its magical urban story, this place was believed to be constructed by the bare hands of Mumbaraka’s, a sadistic giant who often raided the area.
TASTE THEIR DELICACIES: When going to a foreign land, your vacation wouldn’t be whole without tasting their local dishes and special treats. Although it is not recommended to eat them immediately to prevent experiencing stomach pains, on your second day, try Indian foods from local dining establishments. With many spices to offer, there is practically an endless selection of flavors to choose from.
Of course, you wouldn’t want to miss the country’s best kebabs and curries that are all seasoned with sweets and spices. These foods are everywhere and ready to tickle your appetite for India’s native food. However, you should be mindful in buying bottled waters; always purchase sealed ones since water-borne diseases are still unbridled in the country.
Keep your eyes open at night
A city will never be whole without the nightlife. Mumbai has its own way of enlivening their visitors’ evening experience, with the best beers and liquors, an array of spiced up hookahs, and even beats and rhythms that will push you to liberally dance on their large dance floors.
One of the most reputable and famous party attractions is the Blue Frog Club located in the Lower Parel. The club is open for six nights a week and dishes out all types of music and live performances from international and local artists and DJs.
