But the number of people that are hooked at making scrapbooks have not waned these past couple of years, in fact they are increasing. A great number of people are still saving their treasured memories in scrapbooks, and by the way that scrapbook supplies are doing in terms of sales it looks like the hobby is still pretty popular.

A great number of people are still saving their treasured memories in scrapbooks, and by the way that scrapbook supplies are doing in terms of sales it looks like the hobby is still pretty popular.

But it comes with its own set of problems as well. It is quite easy for hobbyists to go slightly overboard when buying scrapbook materials, they tend to buy lots of the same kind of material and store them for when they need it later. These materials tend to pile up, so much so that it gets pretty hard finding the materials that are needed from under that colorful pile of stuff. If you are experiencing the same kind of problem with you scrapbook supplies, then these tips on how you can organize your things may prove useful to you.
The one material that scrapbook enthusiasts like yourself have in abundance is paper. Up until now you may have been storing your craft paper in the same plastic packaging that they originally came in, a more convenient way to store them is by using plastic document bags, the ones with dividers inside. This is a great way to keep all your craft paper organized.
If you are a serious at scrap booking, then you probably have a lot of little embellishments. To store them you can use small glass jars so you can see what is inside without having to open the container. You can also store small amounts of embellishments in an old medicine organizer, just fill in the compartments with as much scrapbook supplies that you will need for a single project and just refill them after you have finished. This way you do not have to take out numerous jars, you have all the embellishments you need in a compact container.
Consider buying a rather large pencil case as well, so you have something to store all your writing implements. You can also use medium-sized jars as well, but if you have a rather large number of pens and markers you may need more than one. This is another bad habit of people who scrapbook, they tend to keep pens and markers even if they cannot write anymore. So every once in a while, test every one of your pens to find out which of them are still usable and throw out those that have dried up.
Considering that scrap booking is a hobby that requires the use of a lot of different materials, it is no wonder that most hobbyists have trouble keeping their things organized. By following the advice given above, you will be able to fight the clutter that comes with the hobby and enjoy yourself a lot more.
