Fathers are those pillars of strength for us on which we can always rely on. Fathers are our guide, friend and philosopher. Fathers are the role model to follow in life. Right from our first steps on this earth, we learn a lot from our dads. They are like a protective shield for us in times of crisis and difficulty. Father’s day is a special day dedicated to our dear fathers.
The Father's Day is a day of commemoration and celebration of love we hold in our hearts for our dear father - the special man in our life. We can never forget the sacrifice of our fathers and the roles they have played in shaping our lives. Father's Day gives us the opportunity to show and express our love and care to this man, who deserves our support most. Father’s Day is the most suited day to make us look beyond 'our own' family and honor the man who brought us together in joy and happiness.
In India , we will get the opportunity to celebrate Fathers Day on the 21st of June, the third Sunday falling in the month of June.
Father's Day is celebrated throughout the world on different calendar dates in different countries. Many of the European countries and the United States will celebrate Fathers day on the 21st June. While on the other side, Fathers day will be celebrated on 8th November which is falling on the second Sunday of November in countries like Norway, Sweden and Finland . In Australia and New Zealand Fathers Day will be celebrated on September 6th, 2009. Though the date and traditions holding back the day are changeable from one country to another yet the true spirits of celebrating Fathers day remains same. It is celebration of fatherhood which is observed with great zest and a lot of enthusiasm and fun fare in more than 80 nations around the world. On Fathers Day it is our turn to thank our fathers for their constant support and dedication. Let's use the Father's Day to let these special men know what place they have in our lives and what influence they have on us.
